Conducted by Justin Freer and produced by CineConcerts, The Godfather Live is a celebration of the cinematic classic that is regularly cited as one of the greatest, most influential films ever made, especially in the gangster genre. The film's soundtrack is acknowledged as one of the most recognizable film scores ever written, winning a Grammy Award® for Best Instrumental Composition Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or for Television.

This 1972 multi-generational saga tells the story of the Corleones and their rivalry with other New York crime families between 1945 and 1955, as the title character (Marlon Brando) hands over the reins of power to his youngest son (Al Pacino). Winner of three Academy Awards® including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actor (Marlon Brando), The Godfather has been named the greatest film ever made by Empire Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and Metacritic, establishing Coppola's reputation as one of the exciting new breed of directors who revolutionized Hollywood from the late-1960s onwards. To this day, The Godfather and The Godfather Part II remain the only original and sequel to both win the Oscar for Best Picture.
