Lookingglass Theatre Company's

Moby Dick

adapted and directed by David Catlin

from the novel by Herman Melville

The power-and the poetry-of Melville's colossal novel is transformed into a masterwork for the stage. Driven on by a madman, bigger than life characters search for the white whale, pitting themselves against the Seven Seas with a fiery passion, in this robust and theatrically thrilling production by Chicago's renowned Lookingglass Theatre Company. A co-production with The ALLIANCE THEATRE and Arena Stage.

Dates: Jan. 28-Feb. 19.

Flora & Ulysses

a play by John Glore

Theatre for Young Audiences

Holy Bagumba! Ten-year-old Flora loves comic books, so it's no surprise to her when a squirrel named Ulysses gets sucked up in the vacuum cleaner and pops out as a superhero who can fly-and write poetry. Doubting adults have lots to learn from Flora, Ulysses and their new friend, William, in this charming story from the author of The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.

Orange

A touching story about a young woman on the spectrum of autism and her search for her place in the world.

Why is Nora back-and what will her return mean to those she left behind?

Yoga Play follows Joan, who has been hired to stabilize Jojomon, a yoga apparel company, after its CEO is embroiled in a fat-shaming scandal. But, just as she finds her stride, more trouble surfaces and sales free-fall. Jojomon needs an image makeover-and fast. Joan comes up with a plan so risky and unconventional that it could make or break the company and her career-and what it requires from her colleague, Raj, is far beyond the call of duty. This sharp comedy explores a Type-A personality in a feel-good industry rooted at the intersection of commerce and spirituality.

20th Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF)

South Coast Repertory's Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) presents seven new plays in staged readings and full productions during a three-day period. Judy Blume's enormously popular book hits the stage with hilarity, and sibling rivalry never has been so much fun. Well, two-year-old Fudge is having fun, and so is the audience. Big brother Peter has had enough, and when his turtle ends up in Fudge's tummy, it's time for drastic measures.
