Segerstrom Center Sets Free Activities for ABT's THE NUTCRACKER

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents the West Coast Premiere of American Ballet Theatre's spectacular production of The Nutcracker December 10 - 20, 2015. Audiences are encouraged to enjoy lobby activities beginning one hour prior to all performances and during intermissions. Activities are free to all ticketholders.

- Two themed photo opportunities for quick snapshots and selfies before the show and during intermission. A winter holiday-themed backdrop will be available on the Orchestra Terrace Level lobby and a California-themed backdrop on the Balcony Level lobby.

- The Nutcracker behind-the-scenes videos, playing on plaza level TVs, will feature students from the ABT William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center who are dancing in this year's production of The Nutcracker.

- The Nutcracker series videos following the Center's Nutcracker on his adventures through Orange County will be available for viewing on the Segerstrom Hall lobby monitors.

Guests are asked to use #SCFTA and #ABTNutcracker on social media sites.

American Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker, choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, is set to a score by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky performed by Pacific Symphony, and features scenery and costumes by Tony Award®-winning designer Richard Hudson and lighting by Jennifer Tipton.
