Los Angeles singer and actress, Robyn Spangler, returns in a new show based on the music of songwriter Billy Barnes, who's known for many American Standards including "Something Cool", and "Have I Stayed To Long At The Fair". Robyn Spangler with Todd Schroeder on piano in "Remembering Billy Barnes is Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2 PM in the Arthur Newman Theater at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. Tickets for the show are $15 cash only, and available at the box office that opens at 1 PM.

Los Angeles actress and singer, Robyn Spangler will return to Arthur Newman Theater following a tour of her previous show, "Why I Love Linda Ronstadt", which she performed here in June of 2013. Her newest show, "Remembering Billy Barnes", tells his story of how 1950's Hollywood flocked to his innovative and original musical revues like; "Billy Barnes People", "Billy Barnes Hollywood", and "Billy Barnes Party".

Those shows introduced numerous newcomers to future stardom, as well as his own successful career on television as musical director on such shows "The Carol Burnett Show", "Sonny & Cher", and "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In". For Ms. Spangler's show on November 19th, her musical director, Todd Schroeder will accompany her on piano with Billy Barnes compositions, "Something Cool", "Have I Stayed To Long At The Fair" and more.
