REMEMBERING THE CARPENTERS Comes To The Joslyn Center

By: Sep. 02, 2011

Los Angeles singer Joanna Pitt will once again star in "Remembering The Carpenter", a loving tribute to Karen and Richard Carpenter's rise to fame in one unforgettable show on Sunday, Sept 18th at a 2 PM matinee in Palm Desert at The Joslyn Center's Arthur Newman Theatre.

"Remembering The Carpenters", played one performance here in June to rave reviews for Ms. Pitt's portrayal of the American icon and group's popular music mixed with a sultry, yet sweet sound all her own, that blends flirtation, class and passion with sophistication. The overwhelming reaction of audience members and their repeated requests of Sundays In Summer Series producer, Les Michaels prompted him to bring Joanna back. This time around, joining Joanna Pitt on the piano will be local musical director Joel Baker.

They are expecting a record turn out and reservations are highly recommended.
