La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents Imagination Movers on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 1:00pm and 3:30pm and Artspower's Chicken Dance on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 1:00pm & 3:30pm.

With their motto of "reach high, think big, work hard, have fun!" the Imagination Movers have delighted Disney audiences for years with their popular Emmy Award winning TV show and high-energy music concerts. Rock 'n' Roll for the grade school set, The New York Times reports the Movers are "prized by many parents for non-condescending lyrics and music that evokes the Beastie Boys or Red Hot Chili Peppers."
Imagination Movers Special VIP Meet & Greet passes available! The VIP pass grants admission to a post-show meet-and-greet with the band where fans can take photos and get autographs.

In Artspower's new musical, Marge and Lola are two chickens on a mission to win the barnyard talent contest. First prize: two tickets to see the great Elvis Poultry in concert! But first, the two chicken hopefuls must find a way to score higher than a flock of very talented ducks that appear to have the contest all locked up. Will Marge and Lola have the courage to face their challengers against all odds and summon up a winning performance?
La Mirada Theatre's Programs for Young Audiences is designed to give children exposure to a diverse mix of national and international touring stage acts while enriching their lives.
