Celebrate National Dance Day At Segerstrom Center This Saturday!  ImageSegerstrom Center for the Arts joins The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Dizzy Feet Foundation to celebrate this year's 9th annual National Dance Day (NDD) on Saturday, July 28 from 1 - 8 p.m. National Dance Day is presented by The Dizzy Feet Foundation (DFF), co-founded by Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman. Segerstrom Center is the exclusive West Coast site and The Kennedy Center is the site of the East Coast celebrations.

Learn this year's National Dance Day routine with So You Think You Can Dance All-Star Allison Holker with special guest emcee Adam Shankman and guest appearance by So You Think You Can Dance judge and alumni Stephen "tWitch" Boss. This year's NDD routine was created by Emmy Award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore to Kylie Minogue's song, "Dancing."

Fully inclusive and interactive dance lessons in a wide variety of dance styles will be held throughout the day. Performances and classes include tap with World of Dance's Kyle Van Newkirk, School of Rock - The Musical, Backhausdance, Culture Shock LA, DEA Youth Dance Program and many more! National Choreographers Initiative 2018 caps National Dance Day with a performance in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. New works created by choreographers and dancers in this year's program will receive their World Premieres. This is a ticketed performance.
