The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) will be presenting seven performances of "The Phantom of the Opera" from March 15-17 and 21-24 in the Historic Huntington Beach Union High School District Auditorium.
APA, the magnet arts program for the Huntington Beach Union High School District, has provided arts education alongside professional-quality entertainment for over 25 years. Its Musical Theatre department will undertake the most popular musical of all time: Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" next week.
Due to overwhelming demand, and for the first time in APA history, an additional performance has been added on Thursday, March 21st, at 7:30 p.m., to accommodate record ticket sales.
Special guests will be in attendance on opening night, such as Natasha Crawford (wife of Michael Crawford and original Ballet Corps) and Dale Kristien (Phantom of the Opera's longest-running "Christine").
