TheatreWorks New Milford will hold open auditions for Pippin (cast plus ensemble) on Sunday May 7th at 2:00 pm and Monday May 8th at 6pm at the United Methodist Church, 68 Danbury Rd, New Milford, CT 06776
This production will be directed by award-winning stage director David Galligan of New Milford, CT. Musical Direction will be by Joy Giuseffi and Choreography by Sandra Hernandez.
Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
All roles are available and both professionals and amateurs are welcome. TheatreWorks is a nonprofit organization and there is no pay. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS CAN BE FOUND AT http://theatreworks.us/actors/index.php
