City Youth Theater/City Stage Company proudly presents this beloved Broadway musical on May 23 & 24 at 7 PM and May 25 at 2 PM at Crosby High School. With dazzling choreography, unforgettable songs, and a message of empowerment and inclusion, Hairspray is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

A Story of Inclusion, Empowerment, and Fun

Set in the 1960s, Hairspray tells the story of Tracy Turnblad, a spirited teenager with big dreams and an even bigger heart. Her love for dancing lands her a spot on The Corny Collins Show, where she becomes a voice for racial integration and self-acceptance. Featuring iconic songs like “You Can’t Stop the Beat” and “Good Morning Baltimore,” the musical celebrates diversity, standing up for what’s right, and the joy of embracing who you are.
