Hard rock and heavy metal pioneers Deep Purple will team up with members of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra for a spectacular concert of the band’s greatest hits. Featuring classic members Ian Gillan (lead vocals), Roger Glover (bass) and Ian Paice (drums, percussion), the “DEEP PURPLE: The Songs That Built Rock” tour is the first the band has made in four years. Fans can expect to hear the band’s trail-blazing iconic hits, including “Smoke on the Water,” “Highway Star,” “Hush,” and "Space Truckin.” One of rock and roll's hardest working bands, Deep Purple has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Ernie and the Automatics will open. “DEEP PURPLE: The Song That Built Rock” is presented by Premier Concerts.
