Westport Country Playhouses Annual Fundraiser to Honor Anne Keefe

Westport Country Playhouse's annual fundraising event at Mitchells of Westport will celebrate Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist, for her many contributions to the arts in the community, on Thursday, December 4, 6 to 8 p.m. The evening will include food, wine, and music, as well as shopping at Mitchells, featuring men's and women's luxury apparel. Ten percent of purchases at the event will be donated to the Playhouse in the buyer's name.

Anne Keefe is curator of the Playhouse's Script in Hand playreading series. She served as artistic director of the Playhouse, with Joanne Woodward, in 2008 and as associate artistic director from 2000-2006, also with Ms. Woodward. She co-directed with Ms. Woodward the Playhouse production of "David Copperfield," and directed numerous Script in Hand readings.

Event hosts are Darlene Krenz, Mary Ellen Marpe, Ann Sheffer, and other Playhouse trustees.
