Westport Country Playhouse Presents Community Open House- OUR TOWN, YOUR PLAYHOUSE, 10/24
Westport Country Playhouse will present a special community open house, "Our Town, Your Playhouse," on Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering FREE activities for children, families, teens and adults throughout the day. They will be giving away tickets for their 2010 season, family festivities and even a pair of tickets to the 2009 Gala performance. You will also be among the first to be able to purchase tickets to WCP’s Holiday Festival when they go on sale that day.
The morning, 10 am-12:30 pm, is geared towards fun events for the kids and will include face-painting, storytelling with books from our 2010 Family Festivities Series, fun backstage tours and displays, and other interactive activities for our young audiences!
Afternoon events, to be held from 1-4 pm, focus on teen and adult activities with a stage combat workshop, directing workshop with tick, tick...BOOM! director Scott Schwartz, tours of the theater, designer displays, a chat with The Breath of Life designer and Tony Award-winner Michael Yeargan, and more!Schedule of events:
