The Westport Community Theatre production of the 6-time Tony-award Winning Musical COMPANY will open tonight, June 8 at 8:00 PM and run until July 1. (Note additional weekend added.)

The show boasts music and lyrics by Stephan Sondheim and book by George Furth. This production is directed by Mark Graham with musical direction by Stan Wietrzychowski, choreography by Liz Milwe and production design by Peter Ling.

"Company" cleverly explores love and commitment, fear and longing, bittersweet moments and the simple joy of "being alive" – as seen through the eyes of bachelor friend Robert, his married friends and multiple girlfriends.

The cast are Christopher Wilkes as Robert ("Bobby") along with Lynda Abshire, Bill Adams, Lisa Dahlstrom, Emily Hughes, Patrick Kiley, Leslie Leeman Uhl, Betty McCready, Christopher Rich, Marion Richard, Rachel Rothman-Cohen, Cami Shore, Frank Sisson and Geoffrey Weglarz.

Performances are tonight, June 8 – July 1, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at 2:00 PM and Thursday, June 14 at 8:00 PM.

Westport Community Theatre is located at Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue in Westport.

There is a senior discount of $2, groups of 10 or more enjoy a $2 per ticket discount, and there is a special "Student Rush" discount 15 minutes prior to performances for students of all ages with a valid student identification card.
