The Warner Stage Company begins its 2011-2012 Season on Saturday, Nov. 5 with the Tony Award-Winning hit musical, HAIRSPRAY.
Set in 1962, pleasantly plump Baltimore teen Tracy Turnblad (played by Catherine J. Crocetto) has only one desire - to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star, but she must use her newfound power to vanquish the reigning Teen Queen Amber Von Tussle (Katie Brunetto), win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin (Jacob Eventoff) and integrate a TV network - all without denting her 'do!
The Warner Stage Company's production of HAIRSPRAY is directed and choreographed by Foster Evans Reese, along with musical director, Aaron J. Bunel. Performances are Saturday, Nov. 5 & 12 at 8pm, Sun., Nov. 6 & 13 at 2pm and Friday, Nov. 11 at 8pm.
