The Ivoryton Playhouse Presents Neva Small in Cabaret 8/15
On Monday, August 15th, Neva Small will be bringing her musical talents to the Ivoryton Playhouse for one night only. A distinguished singer and actress, her signature role of Chava in the film version of Fiddler on the Roof remains a classic.
Recently returning to the spotlight after raising a family, Neva starred with Michael Feinstein in Michael Feinstein: Now & Then at Carnegie Hall, released her first solo CD, Neva Small: My Place in the World - it went on to be a best seller - and was a guest artist with the Walla Walla Symphony.
Her cabaret show NOT QUITE AN INGENUE was so successful it was transferred to an Off-Broadway theater where it is currently being performed. The original cast recording is available on CD.
Neva has appeared on television in Law & Order, Law & Order, Criminal Intent, and the TV movie Hijacking of the Achille Lauro.
Neva is an accomplished writer, producer and performer of children's educational programs. Neva lives in New York City with her husband Dr. Fred Fenig. They have two daughters, Arielle and Barbara.
Admission is $20. The Playhouse is located at 103 Main Street in Ivoryton. For more information or tickets, contact the Ivoryton Playhouse at (860) 767-7318 or visit our website at www.ivorytonplayhouse.org.
