Milford Arts Council, in association with Pantochino Productions Inc. announce the first show of their Nite Spot Nights series of cabaret entertainment for the coming season. Amy Lynn and the Honey Men, formerly Amy Lynn and the Gunshow, is a seven-piece machine that blows glitter all over the traditional memphis-motown soul/rock style. At the controls is Amy Lynn, a vocal powerhouse whose unique flair of quirky, down-to-earth humor countervails against the serious musicianship of her band's bari sax, tenor sax, trumpet, keys, bass, and drums. Both together and apart, members of band draw on a range of experience playing for acts such as Roberta Flack, Spoon, Bette Midler, Red Baraat, St. Vincent, The National, Yo La Tengo, Loser's Lounge, Duffy, Antibalas, and the Radio City Orchestra.

Nite Spot Nights offers six 'night club' style evenings of entertainment. Evoking the feeling of New York City cabaret rooms, the series is a varied collection of musical performances by some of the city's hottest acts. To enhance the experience, the Center for the Arts will be set with tables and chairs inviting patrons to bring along the food and drink of their choice.

"We are very excited to be working with Pantochino in welcoming such amazing talent to Milford. You no longer have to head to the city, we are bringing the city to you!", said executive director Paige Miglio. "This is the perfect program to expand what we offer," said Bert Bernardi of Pantochino. "We love bringing something unique and different to our audiences-it's what we do," he added.

Tickets for Nite Spot Nights are $30.00 and available online at www.milfordarts.org or by calling 203-878-6647, Tuesdays- Fridays 10- 5 pm.
