Meet The Cast of Westport Country Playhouse's SHE LOVES ME 3/23

Westport Country Playhouse invites the public to meet the cast of SHE LOVES ME on TUESDAY, MARCH 23 from 5pm - 7pm at Douglas Cosmetics 57 Main Street, Westport

A FREE event, open to the public, meet company members of the enchanting musical romantic comedy, She Loves Me, set in a 1930s European parfumerie.

"This will be a great kick-off to our season and out 80th anniversary observances," said Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director and director of She Loves Me. "It'll be fun and totally in keeping with our desire to celebrate this milestone with our community. And what could be more perfect than hanging out at a parfumerie to conclude our first day of rehearsal on this show?"

During the evening, Douglas Cosmetics staff members will perform makeovers, and offer skincare and fragrance consultations. Champagne and hors d'oeuvres will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to win prizes courtesy of the cosmetic retailer.

Guests will receive a 10% shopping discount plus Douglas Cosmetics will donate to the Playhouse 10% of the evening's proceeds.

She Loves Me is an endearing musical about Georg and Amalia, feuding shop clerks, who unknowingly fall in love via their letters as anonymous romantic pen pals. Surrounded by a roster of eccentric colleagues who aid and abet them, the two soul mates put on a brave front to cover their frailties while longing for their happy ending. The show was the inspiration for the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan film, You've Got Mail.
