Living Color Art Exhibit Announced At The MAC's Firehouse Gallery

Milford Arts Council, the MAC and Coastal Arts Guild of CT are proud to present a new exhibition at The MAC's Firehouse Gallery called In Living Color. The exhibit explores the interpretation of "Living Color" in the natural world.

The exhibit will run from March 21 through April 14, 2019 with an opening reception on Thursday, March 21, 5:30 - 7:00 pm. The reception is located at 81 Naugatuck Avenue in Walnut Beach Milford CT and it is free and open to the public. WIne and light fare will be served, and winners will be announced at this time. Cash awards will be given to first, second, and third place winners.

The juror for "Living Color" is Robin Gilmore Jopp, an artist and proprietor of Made In Bridgeport. She is a teaching artist for City Lights Gallery and Arts for Learning and many community based programs in Fairfield County. Her jewelry designs can be found in many locations throughout CT. Interested in how things are made and the story each piece tells, Robin honors and explores Bridgeport's manufacturing past in her unique jewelry creations and works of art.
