JERSEY BOYS' John Michael Coppola to Bring A JERSEY VOICE to NJ, CT and NY

By:

John Michael Coppola, from Chicago's long running production of JERSEY BOYS, will bring his solo concert, A JERSEY VOICE: Sinatra to Springsteen...And Everyone In Between.  Featuring song selections from the 1940s through present day, the set list includes songs made popular by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and of course, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.  Coppola understudied and performed the role of Frankie Valli in the Chicago production of the Broadway hit.

Backed by a seven-piece band, Coppola chronicles the journey of moving his family from New Jersey to Chicago to be a part of one of the biggest, worldwide hits playing today.  "Since JERSEY BOYS relocated me to the Midwest, and my friends and family are primarily on the East Coast, I kept getting asked, 'When are you going to come back East to perform?'.  That set the goal to get my concert out there sooner than later," says Coppola.  "On the one year anniversary of the debut of the concert, I was thrilled to confirm my dates in New York and Connecticut and then the New Jersey date just fell into place.  More regional dates are being added in the future, but this is going to be a great homecoming!"

A JERSEY VOICE debuted in 2011 at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, and toured at Chicago's Mayne Stage, the Acorn Theater in Three Oaks, Michigan, as well as numerous fundraisers for schools and non-profit organizations throughout the Chicagoland area.   Subsequent tour dates are scheduled after the East Coast tour.
