City Stage Company will present the Connecticut premiere of Jagged Little Pill, the electrifying contemporary musical inspired by the iconic music of Alanis Morissette. Performances will run June 12-21, 2026 in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Featuring a rock score and a deeply human story, Jagged Little Pill explores themes of identity, family dynamics, mental health, addiction, and resilience. Since its Broadway debut, the musical has resonated with audiences for its raw honesty and emotional depth, sparking important conversations both on and off the stage.

The production is choreographed by Janina Rosa Most and music directed by Angela Jackson, bringing together a creative team dedicated to delivering a dynamic and emotionally resonant theatrical experience.

In addition to the performances, City Stage Company will host post-show talkbacks and community engagement opportunities throughout the run. These conversations will feature local organizations, advocates, and artists, providing audiences with a chance to reflect, discuss, and connect with resources related to the themes presented in the show.

The production will also include a trauma-informed rehearsal process and intimacy coordination practices, ensuring a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all performers involved.
