Ivoryton Playhouse Announces 2017 Season

On March 22nd, 2017 The Ivoryton Playhouse opens its doors for a new season - a year full of exciting, affordable live theatre. Music from the 50's, 60's and 70's, hysterical new comedies and coming of age revelations - the Ivoryton Playhouse 2017 season is filled with stories and songs and people you will want to spend time with.

My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra Conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson

March 22nd - April 9th, 2017

A musical tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra! My Way, Fly Me to the Moon, I've Got the World on a String and New York, New Yorkare some of his greatest hits that will have you singing along!

Biloxi Blues By Neil Simon April 26th - May 14th, 2017

It's 1943. Come back in time with us to World War II era, Biloxi, Mississippi. It's boot camp for a young man from Brooklyn and his fellow recruits where they will learn about Friendship and Love and some of life's harsher lessons. Winner - 1985 Tony Award for Best Play.

West Side Story Based on a Conception of Jerome Robbins

July 5th - July 30th, 2017

With book by Arthur Laurents, Music by Leonard Bernstein, and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time. The Sharks and the Jets clash once again in this powerful and gripping ode to Romeo and Juliet. Tonight, Tonight won't be just any night!

Saturday Night Fever: The Musical Based on the Paramount/RSO Film and the Story by Nik Cohn. Adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oakes

August 9th - September 3rd, 2017

Brooklyn-born Tony Manero loves to DANCE on the weekends, and he's about to enter a dance competition and fall in love!! It's late 1970's and DISCO is here! Get ready for some Night Fever and those nostalgic songs of The Bee Gees!

I Hate Musicals: The Musical World Premiere by Mike Reiss

September 27th - October 15th, 2017

Simpsons' television writer and producer is back in Ivoryton with his hilarious world premiere! Mix an LA earthquake with a little Sigmund Freud and some nifty dance moves and set it to songs you know and love and you've got a musical like nothing you've ever seen before!

The Game's Afoot! By Ken Ludwig

November 1st - November 19th, 2017

A murderously funny thriller set in William Gillette's Connecticut Castle - The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit. Come and join us for this wild and wacky ride!
