The Northeast Children's Theatre Company, a Westport based professional theatre company for young audiences and families currently in residence at the Fairfield Theatre Company, is thrilled to announce a star-studded lineup of entertainment for its upcoming Inaugural Gala. Broadway in Connecticut, set for Saturday, October 19, will feature local talent and New York personalities sharing their songs and stories.

Direct from Broadway, the night features Tituss Burgess (THE LITTLE MERMAID, GUYS AND DOLLS), Leslie Kritzer (ELF, LEGALLY BLONDE) and Adam Guettel (Composer/Lyricist of THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA). Veterans of the stage and screen also appearing include Frank Root (42ND STREET, MACK AND MABEL), Susan Terry (EVITA, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC), and Cynthia Gibb (Gypsy with Bette Midler). "As someone who grew up in Westport, I'm ecstatic that we'll be able to have such incredible talent from the Fairfield and Westport area join our New York performers on stage," says Executive Director Tyler Paul. Jacob Heimer, Sally Eidman, and Haley Bond Petersen of Westport are also expected to make special appearances.

In addition to the evening of theatrical fare with Broadway all-stars, a live auction showcasing rare and unique opportunities like an African safari for two and VIP passes for one of Broadway's hottest shows will be held. Proceeds from the concert and auction will benefit the Company's educational outreach programming, which includes numerous in-school and after-school drama workshops and touring performances for disadvantaged children in underprivileged communities.

The concert portion begins at 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, at the StageOne theater in Fairfield. Tickets for the Gala are available at the $80.00 VIP level and $50.00 Standard level. VIP level includes preferred house seating and exclusive pre-show reception with hors d'oeuvres and wine generously donated by Garelick & Herbs and Palaia Vineyards Winery. To purchase tickets, visit www.nctcompany.org/gala or call 203-259-1036. The StageOne theater is located at 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield, CT.
