The East Haddam Stage Company has announced its 5th season of live theatre at Gillette Castle State Park. Four actors portray seven characters (and create all the sound effects)! using William Gillette's 1930 radio drama Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band.

Our live action recreation of this mystery-drama opens July 6th with two 30-minute shows a day at 1:00pm and again at 3:00pm, on Saturdays and Sundays only, through August 11th. Bring a blanket or chair and become the studio audience as we take you back to the golden age of radio! Come on down to the stone building and stage space near the Castle.

Brought to you by the Economic Development Commission, and sponsored in part by CT Humanities, the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park, Nathan Hale Pharmacy and other area businesses, these shows are free and open to all! (if it is raining at showtime, performances are suspended).

Gillette Castle State Park is located at 67 River Road East Haddam, Conn. For more info, including directions, visit the website: www.EHSCO.org, or call EHSCO at 860-873-3521.
