A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS to Play Warner Theatre, 12/6-14
By: Tyler Peterson
The Warner Stage Company's 2014-15 season continues with a holiday family favorite - A Charlie Brown Christmas - in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre, December 6-14.
Ever since it first appeared on television in 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas has been a staple of the holiday season in America. In fact, the show has appeared every year since it aired on either CBS or ABC, and is now available as a live stage production. Thanks to its timelessness, A Charlie Brown Christmas will continue to be a part of celebrations for years to come. It's funny how a simple premise can resonate through the generations, but it is and will remain symbolic of how the quest for the best gifts or prettiest tree often distracts us from the important things during the festive period. A Charlie Brown Christmas cast includes Matt Monitto, Malie Grasmere, Sarah Skrip, Richard McKenna, Mike Schick, Mary Johnson, Cole Sutton, Chrissy Adamczyk, Kelli Consonni, Morgan Grambo, Karen Adamczyk & Lana Peck. The Warner Stage Company production of A Charlie Brown Christmas is directed and choreographed by Meredith Porri with Music Director T.J. Thompson. Performances are Saturday, December 6 & 13 at 1 pm & 4 pm, and Sunday, December 7 & 14 at 1 pm & 4 pm. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased by calling the Warner Box Office at (860) 489-7180 or at www.warnertheatre.org.
