A Christmas Carol returns to Columbus as an original, locally-produced retelling of Charles Dickens' classic tale, presented by CAPA in collaboration with Short North Stage. Directed by Short North Stage Artistic Director Edward Carignan, the production features a cast of local and national performers and blends familiar holiday elements with dance, musical moments, and beloved carols. The show recreates both the poverty and luxury of 19th-century London as a backdrop to the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a lonely man given the chance to change his life. Each performance includes a pre-show concert on the Ohio Theatre's Mighty Morton theatre organ.
