National Geographic Live, National Geographic's touring speaker series, and the McCoy Center are proud to announce "On the Trail of Big Cats" with Steve Winter, a National Geographic wildlife photographer with a specific focus on big cats.

The McCoy Marquee Series presents National Geographic Live "On the Trail of Big Cats" at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts (100 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., New Albany) on Saturday, April 13, at 7 pm. Tickets are $31.50 and can be purchased in-person at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), online at www.capa.com, or by phone at (614) 469-0939 or (800) 745-3000.

Winter specializes in wildlife photography, particularly big cat photography, and has been a National Geographic photographer since 1991. Winter has been named BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and BBC Wildlife Photojournalist of the Year. He was a two-time winner of Picture of the Year International's Global Vision Award and won first prize in the nature story category from World Press Photo in 2008 and 2014.

Winter lectures globally on photography, big cats, and conservation issues, and with his National Geographic Live program "On the Trail of Big Cats," he sells out venues sharing his stories about travelling the world to photograph cats and educating audiences on the importance of conservation. He has been interviewed on CBS Nightly News, NPR, BBC, and CNN and other media outlets. His film with Bertie Gregory, Mission Critical: Leopards at the Door, continues to run on Nat Geo WILD.

Growing up in rural Indiana, Winter dreamed of traveling the world as a photographer for National Geographic Magazine. His first camera was a gift from his father on his seventh birthday.
