Tribute to the 70's - SCT Annual Scholarship Benefit

Put on your boogie shoes and celebrate the hot hits of the 70’s with this groovy musical tribute benefiting Strongsville Community Theatre’s Jean Thom Scholarship Fund!

There will be only two performances: Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th at St. Adalbert’s Keller Center, 66 Adelbert St., Berea, OH. Don’t eat dinner before the show because you will have catered hors d’oeuvres and desserts plus a cash bar starting at 6:00 PM with the two-hour show starting at 7:00 PM.

We guarantee it will be fun…after all, it’s the music WE ALL listened to in the 70s. “Jim’s Little Big Band” along with eight singers (4 male, 4 female) will dazzle you with rock, disco, soul, and romantic songs from the likes of Stevie Wonder; Earth, Wind, and Fire; Elton John, and Billy Joel. Romantic songs from Barbra Streisand, The Carpenters, Carole King and James Taylor and from movies like “Grease,” “A Star is Born,” “Rocky,” and “The Way We Were.”

SCT SCHOLARSHIP FUND

ALL proceeds go to the SCT Jean Thom Scholarship Fund. Over the past few years, SCT has awarded over THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS in scholarships to SHS seniors.

Additionally, SCT donated TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS to the Strongsville Schools to start a Drama Club at the Middle School. The SMS Drama Club has completed its first year.
