With so many people in the Miami Valley who are passionate about theatre, THE NEON and it's directors James D. Stern & Adam Del Deo are hoping this little film will have a successful run. Actors, directors, tech crews, administrators and theatre lovers alike will love this film. Please help THE NEON make it a success.

From the directors of THE YEAR OF YAO and ...SO GOES THE NATION comes a new documentary about one of Broadway's most defining shows.

Following the trials and triumphs of real-life auditionees for A Chorus Line, EVERY LITTLE STEP goes behind the scenes of the audition process while also reflecting on the history of the show in both its original and current versions.
(96 minutes, Rated PG-13)

EVERY LITTLE STEP
THE JOURNEY OF A CHORUS LINE
Opening JULY 17 at
THE NEON in Downtown Dayton!
130 E. 5th St. - Dayton, OH - (937)222-SHOW

Directors' Statement:

EVERY LITTLE STEP explores the incredible journey of A CHORUS LINE from ambitious idea to international phenomenon.

We sought to compare and contrast the original with the current revival. Our process led us to investigate the societies in which they've debuted, and why the themes are so timeless and universal. In addition, we went behind the scenes to obtain exclusive interviews and never before seen footage of the revival's audition process, revealing the dramatic journey of the performers, and the unfolding story of life imitating art. We share Michael Bennett's sentiment - "this show is dedicated to anyone who has ever danced in a chorus or marched in step...anywhere."

As the performers nervously waited, told us their stories, and gave the judges their all, we saw how the auditioners from EVERY LITTLE STEP reflect our current society and how all people - "the chorus" - have distinctive voices that just want to be heard. Moreover, at its core, we wanted EVERY LITTLE STEP to evoke a universal relatable theme - one that stretches across all nations, cultures, and societies.

This theme, going after your hopes and dreams - no matter how hard, no matter what the obstacles, is truly what life is about.

In today's challenging times, we believe and hope that EVERY LITTLE STEP will inspire our audience with an "I can do that" attitude."
