OPAC to Present SEUSSICAL JR., 3/20-22

"Seussical Jr." - a triumphant journey of excitement, trepidation, fun, amazement and joy based on the books of Dr. Seuss - hits the stage at the Olmsted Performing Arts Center (OPAC) on March 20.

Olmsted Performing Arts (OPA) - http://www.olmstedperformingarts.com - is a community-based arts organization that delivers world-class entertainment and education to Olmsted Falls and the surrounding areas of Greater Cleveland.

"Seussical, Jr." is a production from the OPA Youth Stage and stars Chelsea Falatic as The Cat in the Hat, Aubree Stone as JoJo, Cole Rector as Horton the Elephant, Ariannah Gaiser as Gertrude McFuzz and Brianna Burke as Mayzie La Bird. The musical is taken from a book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty based on the works of Dr. Seuss. The OPA production of "Seussical Jr." will be directed by Rebecca Riffle with musical direction by Tessa Hongosh assisted by Muna Al-Nimer, and choreography by Marlee Roberts.

"Seussical Jr." will be performed at Olmsted Performing Arts Center (6941 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls) on March 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. and March 21 and 22 at 2 p.m.. Tickets to "Seussical Jr." are $15 and $17 and available now online at http://www.olmstedperformingarts.com or over the phone by calling (440) 235-6722. During each performance Barnes & Noble - Crocker Park, Westlake - will be selling Dr. Seuss books in the lobby of the OPAC, a portion of each sale will be donated to OPA. You can also visit bn.com/bookfairs from March 20 to March 24 and enter ID 11565629 at checkout, a percentage of all sales made on those days with that ID will be donated to OPA.

Prior to each performance of "Seussical Jr." there will be a special interactive storytelling event led by The Cat in the Hat and other characters from the show. It'll be a great chance for fans to meet the characters and have fun with them. The pre-show event will start 90 minutes before each performance. Tickets will be available at the door and will be $10 for each child. Adults get into the pre show for free.
