Production Assistant Intern - Camp Broadway LLC

Camp Broadway is seeking a Production Assistant Summer Intern who is highly motivated, energetic and creative. Our internships offer visibility, hands-on learning, and practical work experience in a fun, friendly environment that allows you to develop and share your ideas while gaining valuable experience in the theater industry. Under the supervision of the Program & Production Manager and Line Producer, the Production Assistant Intern will gain insight into both the business and creative aspects of production development and will be responsible for assisting with the coordination, logistics and rehearsals for all Camp Broadway programs, purchasing of last-minute supplies needed onsite and supporting the Creative Staff as needed. The Summer 2019 internship will run from May-August and requires a minimum of 15 hours per week (25 hours maximum). This is an unpaid internship.Additional Responsibilities:- Transporting of equipment and materials as needed- Supporting Program & Production Manager and Line Producer at performance & rehearsal venues - Assisting with the organization of all shipments - Preparation of any printed materials needed for programs - Helping to pack camper bags and supporting staff during camp registration as needed- Administrative responsibilities as assigned - Assisting with the execution of Camp Broadway?s programs and eventsRequirements:- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor?s degree program, or a recent College graduate- Concentration in Arts, Theatre Arts Management or other related fields preferred- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA- Creative and innovative candidate with passion for the Arts- Design skills and knowledge- Strong verbal communication skills- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint- Ability to work collaboratively and independently required- Strong attention to detailCamp Broadway, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
