The USC School of Dramatic Arts is unveiling a brand-new professional degree in Contemporary Musical Theatre, which will welcome its first cohort in Fall 2019. Taking advantage of the unparalleled resources and faculty of the School’s prestigious partner arts schools at USC, including the USC Thornton School of Music and the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, this degree will offer singular opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and creativity.



The USC School of Dramatic Arts is seeking applicants for an open rank non-tenure track faculty position in Musical Theatre at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, depending on experience and current rank. The position will serve as the Head of Musical Theatre, overseeing the new BFA in Contemporary Musical Theatre as well as existing undergraduate Musical Theatre curricular and extra-curricular opportunities. The position will start September 2018.
