Avalon Productions presents The Diary of Anne Frank, the stage adaptation by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, running May 15–17, 2026 at The Avalon Theatre in Marysville, Ohio. Led by Lucy Wilson and a cast of nine regional actors, the production portrays the Frank and Van Daan families as they hide from Nazi persecution in a concealed annex in Amsterdam. Anne's voice emerges with clarity and resilience as the story follows her through the universal experiences of adolescence — clashing with parents, questioning the world, and experiencing first love — while grappling with the fear and uncertainty of the Holocaust. Directed by Ryan Bowie, the play serves as a testament to empathy and the enduring belief in the goodness of humanity.
