As a singer/songwriter, Edelman has recorded dozens of solo albums and has toured with popular music acts like the Carpenters and Frank Zappa. His pop songs have been covered by major recording artists including Barry Manilow ("Weekend in New England") and Olivia Newton-John ("If Love is Real").
Edelman has also composed over 100 scores for television and film. He wrote the theme to, and scored many episodes of television's MacGyver and scored dozens of major motion pictures, including The Last of the Mohicans, Gettysburg and DragonHeart.
"I put my complete heart and soul into every one of these scores," says Edelman, "regardless what style the film is - old-fashioned, animated, a comedy or some little intimate thing."
