THE FULL MONTY, WILLY WONKA and More Set for The Carnegie's 2017-18 Theatre Series

Broadway pizazz, hometown nostalgia, pure imagination, and parenting at its funniest - audiences can expect all this and more during The Carnegie's 2017-18 Theatre Season.

The Carnegie is proud to present the 10th Anniversary of the Theatre Series in the Otto M. Budig Theatre with a lineup that is sure to please.

A raucous and revealing evening will be had by all who attend the season opener, THE FULL MONTY, in August. Then in November, TENDERLY: THE Rosemary Clooney MUSICAL will captivate audiences with the life story of the local legend. Audiences can grab a golden ticket in January to see Roald Dahl'S WILLY WONKA with all the songs from the film and a few more to boot.

Finally, this very special season wraps up with MOTHERHOOD OUT LOUD, a warm and comic salute to the women (and men) who take on the challenge of child-rearing.

A loveable band of unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, NY cook up a hilarious scheme to reinvigorate their bank accounts and their self-confidence by becoming a male striptease act. But it won't be easy...between learning to dance, dealing with body issues, and revealing the plan to their wives, the men must expose more than their bare-bottoms to make their plan a reality.

Based on the hit film of the same name, THE FULL MONTY is full of heart, humor, and the most highly anticipated closing number you'll ever see at the theatre. Get ready to hoot and holler as the guys "let it go" in a finale performance you won't forget!

In a story that begins just 60 miles from The Carnegie in Maysville, KY, the show follows Rosemary's career successes, personal struggles, and her triumphant reinvention as a jazz singer.

Featuring her greatest songs, including "Come On-A My House," "Tenderly," and "Hey There (you with the stars in your eyes)," TENDERLY stunningly portrays the making of an American icon.
