ETC Presents Regional Premiere Of Moises Kaufman's 33 VARIATIONS September 2-20
Moisés Kaufman's 33 VARIATIONS will have its regional premiere at the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati (ETC). The production, directed by Lynn Meyers, will open the 2009-10 season, playing September 2-20, 2009.
"Musicology professor Katherine Brandt is racing against time to uncover an intriguing centuries-old mystery as much as she is struggling to come to terms with her own daughter. Her obsession with why Beethoven would write dozens of variations on what was once considered a mediocre waltz transports us from present-day New York to 19th-century Austria. As these two worlds collide, Katherine learns to embrace her own legacy as the secret of one of the most revolutionary musical masterpieces unfolds."

Parking for evening and matinee performances is available directly across the street from the theatre in the Gateway Garage for $2. Patrons may access the garage via the 12th Street entrance. Patrons may also park at the surface lot located at the corners of 12th and Vine Streets; charges for this lot vary.
