Cincinnati Shakespeare Company offers a full season of holiday cheer in just 90 minutes with EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!) This production written by Michael Carleton, John Alvarez, and Jim Fitzgerald is a non-stop holiday romp through everyone's favorite Christmas stories performed by just three actors in ninety minutes. Opening December 13th at Arnold's Bar & Grill in downtown Cincinnati, EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!) is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Artistic Associate Jeremy Dubin, and features guest artist Nick Rose and Resident Company members Justin McCombs and Sara Clark.

EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!) premiered in 2005 at Orlando Shakespeare Company under the direction of Artistic Director Jim Helsinger. What starts as an annual performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL quickly descends into a playful skewering of everyone's favorite "Beloved Holiday Classics." Using just three actors, a very tipsy Santa (Billy Chace), and a little help from the audience, EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!) crams an entire season's worth of stories, carols, and television specials into ninety minutes of non-stop laughs.

Due to popular demand, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company brings back EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!) for a fourth straight year. Sara Clark, Justin McCombs, and Nick Rose will reprise their roles in EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!) Rose returns to Cincinnati Shakespeare Company after last season's award-winning performance as the title role in TIMON OF ATHENS. He also appeared recently as Gordon in DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE at Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati. Mr. McCombs and Ms. Clark, both now fourth year veterans of the company, also return to poke fun at the holiday season, along with Billy Chace, who reprises his role as Santa.

Audiences and critics have made the show a sold-out success for the last three Decembers. In 2006, Rick Pender of CityBeat wrote of the show, "If you've laughed yourself silly watching any of the scripts developed by the Reduced Shakespeare Company - you'll find yourself in similar territory. Michael Carleton, Jim Fitzgerald, and John Alvarez clearly went to the same school... This production will certainly appeal to audiences looking for relaxing, adult holiday amusement." Director Jeremy Dubin remarks, "This cast has so much fun together and the show has become a very personal holiday tradition for all of us. Returning audiences will enjoy a fresh round of new jokes, and new audiences will be amazed at Sara's frighteningly accurate Jimmy Stewart impression."
