The Story Theatre presents the world premiere of the love object, a compelling new play by Justine Gelfman, directed by Jasmine B. Gunter. Set against the backdrop of the early 2000s pop music industry, the narrative unravels themes of agency, betrayal, and the hyper-sexualization of women in celebrity culture. As Ramona prepares for her stadium tour, her best friend Paula grapples with a decision that could change both their lives forever.
