Jesnaira Baez is a Chicago-born and raised stand-up comedian rooted in Humboldt Park. She first dared herself onto the stage because of a dare from a friend—and soon discovered a love for open mic nights and stand-up. Since then, Jesnaira has toured across clubs and college venues, frequently appearing in showcases through Chicago’s Latina/Latinx comedy circuits. For several years, she has opened for comedian DL Hughley when he tours through the Midwest.With quick wit, grounded storytelling, and bold presence, Jesnaira brings a fresh voice honed in the city’s comedy scene and beyond.
