DRACULA

A One-Woman Performance of the Classic Story

 

A one-of-a-kind Halloween event –hear the story of Dracula told like you've never heard it before!

Join Village Players as national storyteller Megan Wells treats audiences to a one-woman performance of the original Dracula! Called "the Kate Hepburn of storytelling," Megan gives audiences a dramatic and heart-pounding mix of myth and theater, adapted from Bram Stoker's famous novel.

 

An award winning theater and story artist, Megan Wells performs nationally from a full repertoire of original stories and revivified myths at regional theaters, colleges, festivals and corporations.  She is the recipient of a Joseph Jefferson Award, a Parent's Choice Gold and an EdPress Distinguished Achievement Award. Dracula runs Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, October 26 at 2:30 PM.  All tickets are $20.  This production is rated PG-13, and will run 90 minutes with an intermission.

Presented in the Blackbox Theater of the newly renovated Village Players Performing Arts Center located at 1010 Madison St., Oak Park. Plenty of parking is available on the street.
