Tickets to SHERLOCK HOLMES in Chicago with David Arquette on Sale Tomorrow
Broadway In Chicago, along with Starvox Entertainment and June Entertainment, have announced that tickets for SHERLOCK HOLMES will go on public sale on Friday, September 25. SHERLOCK HOLMES will play Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited one-week engagement, November 24 - 29, 2015, starring David Arquette in the title role in an original adaptation by Greg Kramer inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic tales.
SHERLOCK HOLMES premiered in Montreal in 2013 in a sold-out, production at The Segal Centre. This SHERLOCK HOLMES was the winner of five prestigious Montreal English Theatre Awards, including Outstanding Production and Outstanding Director. Original director, Andrew Shaver (Stratford Festival), will remount the show for the North American tour which also features designs by Cirque du Soleil's James Lavoie.
Full casting for the 10-member acting company, including the co-starring roles of "Watson" and "Lady Irene St. John," will be announced at a later date.
Thrilling, humorous, full of head-scratching crimes and dazzling deduction in the face of cunning evil, SHERLOCK HOLMES takes theatregoers on a heart-stopping adventure through the opium dens, the muddy docklands and the gritty backstreets of London during the turn of the century in a gripping new tale ripped from the canon of Doyles classic stories. The production has a quirky sensibility that meshes Victorian London with modern nods to Steampunk. Recommended for families and children ages 8+.
Individual tickets for SHERLOCK HOLMES range from $24- $87. A select number of premium seats are also available for many performances.
