Fresh off their Jan. 28, 2019 appearance on NBC's "America's Got Talent: The Champions," The Texas Tenors bring their award-winning vocal harmonies to the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) on Sunday, March 17 at 4 p.m.

"I have been to hundreds of concerts in my lifetime but never have I had my breath taken away until I heard The Texas Tenors," says TripAdvisor. And Broadway World says, "I think what I enjoyed most about the concert was the down-home-come-pull-up-a-chair-and-hang-out genuineness of the men. Despite accolades, Emmy awards, top Billboard recognition, and tours across the world that could make anyone pompous, they are still as friendly and down-to-earth as they appeared in their first interview for America's Got Talent."

In addition to their appearances on "America's Got Talent," The Texas Tenors - Marcus Collins, John Hagen and JC Fisher - have been featured in two PBS specials, released three studio albums and performed more than 1300 concerts throughout 20 countries. They have sung with some of the most prestigious symphonies in the country, including the Cleveland Pops, Houston Symphony and Pittsburgh Symphony. Concerts have been known to feature a diverse selection of songs ranging from a "Les Misérables" medley to The Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin'" to Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A." and Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are." The group's first PBS special, "You Should Dream," won three Emmy Awards.

Their second special, "Rise," premiered in September 2017, released in conjunction with their newest studio album of the same name, which peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Classical charts and No. 22 overall. This past August, The Texas Tenors released "A Collection of Broadway and American Classics" which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Classical Chart.

The Texas Tenors come to the McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage on Sunday, March 17 at 4 p.m. Tickets cost $50-$70. For tickets and more information, visit AtTheMAC.org or call 630.942.4000. VIP Suite Service is available for an additional cost of an additional $30 per person and includes a private, pre-show cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception beginning at 3:15 p.m., followed by coffee and dessert at intermission.

The McAninch Arts Center (MAC) at College of DuPage is located 25 miles west of Chicago near I-88 and I-355. It houses three indoor performance spaces (the 780-seat proscenium Belushi Performance Hall; the 236-seat soft-thrust Playhouse Theatre; and the versatile black box Studio Theatre), the outdoor Lakeside Pavilion, the Cleve Carney Art Gallery and classrooms for the college's academic programming. The MAC has presented theater, music, dance and visual art to more than 1.5 million people since its opening in 1986 and typically welcomes more than 100,000 patrons from the greater Chicago area to more than 230 performances each season.

The mission of the MAC is to foster enlightened educational and performance opportunities, which encourage artistic expression, establish a lasting relationship between people and art, and enrich the cultural vitality of the community.
