The Prop Thtr Begins Season with ROCAMBU JAZZ

The Prop Thtr will open its 2017-18 season with an evening of live music, dance and cabaret.

Headlining the event will be Rocambu Jazz, led by jazz trumpeter Yves François. Jazz ensemble Rocambu mixes world beats with New Orleans-style jazz and blues.

Joining Rocambu onstage will be Prop Thtr's Miss Alley Cat (Diane Hamm) performing a feather dance, in addition to Prop Thtr cabaret dancers.

In collaboration with Pop Magic Productions, The Prop Thtr will host a Fall Launch Party for two upcoming shows: The Last Days of The Commune (directed by Stefan Brün) and In Sarah's Shadow: The Eleanora Duse Story (written and directed by Olivia Lilley, choreographed by Kelly Anderson).

The event will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 8 pm. The launch party will feature surprise celebrities from past centuries & revolutionary cocktails at The Prop Thtr, 3502 N Elston Avenue, Chicago. For more information go to www.propthtr.org.


Prop Thtr is Chicago's longest-running incubator theater, with a 2-theater performance complex located at 3502 N. Elston Avenue.
