Arthur Miller's 1950 adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's 1882 play An Enemy of the People explores personal and political issues that resonate in both playwrights' worlds, with a brave central character against corrupt and hypocritical political systems and social intolerance. The themes of this play surface throughout Miller's canon and life, most significantly in his struggles with McCarthyism and the House Un-American Activities Committee.

Join Eclipse Ensemble members and guest artists for an intimate staged reading of selections from both plays, followed by a discussion with the actors.
