The Four C Notes to Perform at Apollo Theater, 5/21
THE FOUR C NOTES, the Midwest's only Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute group is kicking off its summer tour with a special, one night only performance at Chicago's Apollo Theater. The group was founded by and features John Michael Coppola who covered the role of Frankie Valli in Chicago's smash hit production of JERSEY BOYS.
The concert will be on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 8:00pm. General admission tickets are $35.
Backed by a seven piece band, THE FOUR C NOTES perform 75 minutes of 100% Four Seasons hits, including: Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like A Man, Workin' My Way Back to You (Babe), December '63 (Oh What a Night), Let's Hang On, and the list goes on and on.
Coppola, who created the group in 2013, said, "Our fans here in Chicago have truly embraced us! When Jersey Boys closed in 2010, it left a void in the area for this music. The group was created out of necessity; I literally got a call with a request to sing some Four Seasons tunes at a wedding and I hired 3 friends to sing with me. Once word got out that there was this group in town singing the Four Seasons, our phone didn't stop ringing. Since then, we've been honored to have been invited to perform all over the country, and we couldn't think of a better kick off to our summer tour than a 'thank you' concert at the esteemed Apollo Theater! It's going to be a great night!"
The Apollo performance is co-presented by well known Chicago based actor/producer, Michael J. Sanow. A co-owner of SFC Productions, Ltd., Sanow said, "As an avid fan of the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, I'm very pleased to be bringing The Four C Notes to the Apollo and excited about working with my friend, John Michael Coppola. The Four C Notes are a high energy, high quality, highly entertaining group that takes you on an engaging trip down memory lane and I know everyone will enjoy the concert."
Since 2013, THE FOUR C NOTES have been seen at public and private venues throughout the country. Other tour stops on their summer tour include Milwaukee, Omaha, Maine, and Mundelein. For more information on THE FOUR CNOTES, please visit www.thefourcnotes.com.
