Please note: There will be no performance on Thursday, February 11.Written in 1942, Wilder's rarely-produced script is an ageless and wildly inventive portrayal of the human condition. Through the lives of the Antrobus family and their maid Sabina, Wilder traces the progression of the human race as it teeters repeatedly on the brink of disaster, shivering through the ice age, taking cover at the onset of the great flood and fumbling toward forgiveness in the dark aftermath of war. Wilder's imaginative, comedic and ultimately hopeful romp lovingly shows us the cyclical nature of existence, celebrating humanity's resilience, inventiveness and our will to survive. In presenting this rarely seen classic, the Artistic Home continues its tradition of presenting fresh and emotionally charged takes on often-forgotten works. The Artistic Home
