Terry opens his first full-length Solo sketch comedy production, Displays of Affection, directed by Rex Graff on December 16th, 2011.
DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION leads you to a confession about a confession, a corporate cafeteria, a first date at the movies, a bird watching excursion and so much more. In this solo sketch comedy piece, the idea of "affection" gets examined, as an array of uncontrollable characters have their beliefs and actions redefined by their surroundings, their circumstances and their personal relationships.
Or maybe they don't.
Terry has been performing improvisation, sketch and film since 2003. He was a founding and 6 year member of the acclaimed iO house team Rattlesnake High School, the Confessional and performed in 2 Guy Show. He was also a member of the improv group My Naked Friends, directed by Jimmy Carrane. Other stage credits include the role of Corporal Dawson in the Alchemy Theatre produced version of A Few Good Men and as understudy for Mr. 1000 Miles Per Hour directed by Michael Patrick O'Brien.
Rex Graff, Director, has been performing improvisation, comedy, and sketch since 1996. He is a founding member of Rattlesnake High School and currently performs with the iO team Mike Helicopter. Other stage and video credits include Topaz. His critically acclaimed sketch group St. Greg's Place is currently recording short videos under the name Social Animals. Rex is a graduate of the Annoyance Theater, iO Training Center and the Second City Conservatory.
DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION runs Fridays only at 9:00 pm at the Live Bait Theatre, 3914 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL. There will be a special preview performance on Friday December 9th at 10:00pm
