Due to popular demand, The Trap Door Theatre is extending The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui for one week only, through Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Written by Bertolt Brecht and translated by George Tabori and Alistair Beaton, the production is directed by Victor Quezada-Perez.

The cast features Dennis Bisto, Abby Blankenship, Antonio Brunetti, Casey Chapman, Bill Gordon, Derek Jeck, Lyndsay Rose-Kane, Mike Steele, David Steiger, Nora Ulrey, Kevin Webb, and Bob Wilson.

Written in 1941, Bertolt Brecht's compelling parable The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is a savage satire of social and political corruption. It was written during WWII to denounce Hitler's rise and told within a gangster parable that takes place in Chicago in the 1930s.
