Stories are creative non-fiction and are approximately 10 minutes long, with breaks in between, so audience members can eat, drink and tell their own stories at their tables.

Storytellers:

Denise Kirshenbaum has been writing since 2000, studying with Nancy Beckett at Lakeside Writing Studio where she was a member for many years. Now, a one-on-one writing coach herself, Denise blends her writing experience with visual and production skills honed during a 20-year photography career to help clients of all levels achieve their writing goals. Her essays have appeared in literary journals, on the web, and in national magazines, including More and The Bark.

Rick Leslie is a former songwriter, adman and network news producer. Rick has been telling stories of one kind or another for over 35 years. Recently, he retired from the communications business and enrolled at Northwestern University. It inadvertently led him to an unexpected fourth career in the communications business - storytelling. Rick is a member of another storytelling company, Second Story, in Chicago.

Ron Levitsky is a retired educator who currently serves as Trustee for West Deerfield Township, writes a monthly local political column, and hosts a public access TV show, "Friends of Ron." In addition, Ron has published four mystery novels and several short stories, four of which have been anthologized.
