Second City's Annual 24-Hour Marathon to Benefit Onward Neighborhood House

Returning for its sixteenth year, The Second City's 24-hour improv and music marathon will be held Monday, November 20th through Tuesday, November 21st in The Second City e.t.c. Theater. The non-stop event, named 24 Hour: It'll Make You Feel Better, is set to feature a lineup of Second City's lauded alumni, as well as special guests from the worlds of comedy, theater, and music.

Scheduled to appear include the following names:

Improv By: Ashley Nicole Black (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), Edgar Blackmon (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Emily Candini, Kevin Dorff (Conan), Scott Goldstein, Shantira Jackson (50 Central), TJ Jagodowski (TJ & Dave), Brendan Jennings (Nobodies), Andrew Knox (Second City e.t.c.), Holly Laurent, Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), Julie Marchiano (Second City e.t.c.), Rachael Mason (The Boys), Susan Messing (Messing with a Friend), Brad Morris (Good News), Asher Perlman (The Opposition with Jordan Klepper), Chris Redd (SNL), Katie Rich (SNL), Niccole Thurman (The Opposition with Jordan Klepper), Claudia Michelle Wallace (Shrink), Emily Walker (Homeland), Matt Walsh (Veep) and more to be announced.

24 Hour: It'll Make You Feel Better

Monday, November 20th- Tuesday, November 21st, 5pm (doors open at 4pm) to 5pm

Entry is $20 (cash only) as long as seats are available.

In addition, a private concert with Jeff Tweedy will be up for live auction during the show. One lucky attendee will win one of the Grammy winner's legendary private, acoustic living room shows-- 30 songs of the winning bidder's choice, played live for 30 guests.

Other items will be up for auction at Charitybuzz.com, including an in-home private Jeff Tweedy concert, SNL tickets, a backstage tour and tickets to The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, a private poker lesson with two-time gold bracelet winner Brandon Shack-Harris, and a record shopping experience with Steve Albini.

All proceeds support families from Chicago's Onward Neighborhood House as part of their Letters to Santa program. Second City is proud to have helped raise over $1,000,000 for Onward Neighborhood House, an organization that empowers families and individuals in need to achieve their full potential in a community-based setting.
